Member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors (the "Executive Committee") since October 1992. Mr. Sacks has led the Company for over 26 years and has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Mr. Sacks has responsibility for development and implementation of the business strategy.
Rodney Sacks was born in South Africa. He graduated from Wits University in Johannesburg with a law degree and post-graduate higher diploma in tax law. Mr. Sacks was the youngest attorney to make partner at Werksmans, the largest corporate law firm in South Africa. Mr. Sacks was a senior partner when he emigrated to California with his family in August 1989 after spending nearly 20 years with Werksmans. In 1990 a consortium headed up by Mr. Sacks, acquired control of a publicly traded company which was ultimately merged into and became known as Hansen Natural Corporation. Hansen Natural Corporation acquired the Hansen’s Natural Soda and Apple Juice business in 1992 for a purchase consideration of some $14.5 million. At that time sales were $17.5 million and the business had 12 employees.
In 2002, Hansens launched its Monster Energy drink and officially changed the name of the company to Monster Beverage Company on January 5, 2012. Mr. Sacks has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hansen Natural and now Monster Beverage since 1990. Under his stewardship the market cap for Monster Beverage Corporation’s grew to $23 Billion with annual sales in excess of $2.8 billion. The company distributes its product to more than 200 countries and employs approximately 2,000 people.

Rob is a dedicated and passionate philanthropist. He has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters for 3 decades and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1992. He is a large supporter of charities that are focused on underprivileged children and is one of the main funders of a school for underserved girls in India.
Born and raised in Orange County, Rob is devoted to the community in which he lives as well as his two adult children Alex and Ryan.

Lee Yin is a multi-talented business man with a proven success record in the retail and property development sectors. Having obtained a degree in Construction and Mechanical Engineering from Cal State, Long Beach, Lee decided to follow his entrepreneurial passion and ventured into the retail sector. In 1987, Lee opened his first retail store in the City of Downey, California. Understanding the value of real estate, Lee decided to develop his own stores using them as anchor tenants in strip centers. Since then he maintained a slow and controlled growth of new outlets and currently owns 30 retail chain stores throughout Southern California.
